Social security, women and child development and social justice, empowerment and minorities minister dr. Baljit kaur has continued to serve humanity as a doctor even after becoming a cabinet minister. She is often seen checking people’s eyes when she goes to her constituency. Even today, she rendered services as a doctor all day in the free eye check-up and white cataract operation camp organized by sankalp education welfare society and rabab education welfare society. The camp was organized at dhaliwal children’s hospital in dr. Baljit eye care centre from 9 am and this camp will continue till 6 pm.

Eye specialist dr. Baljit kaur examines 1500 patients
In this camp, dr. Baljit kaur herself examined the eyes of 1500 patients. Out of these, 700 patients were provided with spectales and free medicines were also given to the patients. On this occasion, 100 white cataract patients have been selected for an operation, which will also be performed by the cabinet minister herself.
Cabinet minister said that this camp has been organized the needs of the elderly under the campaign “saade buzrg saada mann”
It is worth mentioning that dr. Baljit kaur served in this district as an ophthalmologist before entering politics and there was a public opinion that people preferred to have eye surgeries from her. Even in the camp today, when people found dr. Baljit kaur conducting an eye examination, the radiance on their faces was even more evident.
