An organ (Body Donate) donation camp was organized at SRS Vidyapeeth, Samana by Rotary Club, Samana under the guidance of Hon’ble Chairman of SRS Vidyapeeth CA Mr. Amit Singla and Secretary Mr. Lalit Singla. The event was started by the Chief Guest. Chetan Singh Jauramajra, the cabinet minister and DSP Neha Agarwal and District Governor Mr. Ghanshyam Kansal. A team from Delhi was also present at the venue to motivate people for the noble cause by performing a skit on the theme of significance of organ donation.

The members of Rotary Club, Samana and Aggarwal Gaushala, Samana and so many friends and dignitaries of Hon’ble Chairman Mr. Amit Singla have pledged to donate their organs after attending today’s event. Along with them, many officials of Rotary District (3090), Rotary International pledged to be the part of this drive.

Organ donation after death can save 8 lives
CA Mr. Amit Singla, the organiser of today’s event, addressed the audience saying “Many people die in India every year due to non availability of organs, only a few thousand get it. The rest of the patients lose their lives. Each person can save up to 8 lives by donating organs after brain death. So, organs from such people who die with healthy organs can be retrieved and transplanted to save many lives.”
A lunch was organized for the whole team by the club. Mr. Amit Singla and Mr. Lalit Singla also honoured the team for making people aware about the organ’s donation significance.
